It's been a while, but here we go again with a genuine belter - Big Maybelle, singing 'Candy'. In a similar vein as Big Mama Thornton, here's a bit of BACKGROUND if you're interested. I have to say, I prefer her as a 'shouter' belting out juke-joint numbers, but this is the only track I could find online with which to whet The Shackers appetite. Go Maybel!
